"The musicians of the FSO Camerata are really looking forward to bringing more fun and beautiful programs to audiences in Frederick City and County this summer,” said Associate Conductor Andrew Rosenfeld, DMA. Additionally, Rosenfeld is chair of the visual and performing arts department at Mount St. Mary’s University, where he also serves as a professor. Added Rosenfeld, “The Mount will make a beautiful venue for audiences to enjoy these classical music masterpieces from North and South America.”

Rosenfeld is also the founder and director of the Camerata, the summer ensemble offering innovative outreach programming with free performances. The members of the 15-instrument ensemble all perform with the FSO during the regular concert season.
