An associate professor in the Department of World Languages and Cultures, Rodriguez-Lozano's areas of study include the magic realism/fantastic genre and Latin American women writers.

The immediate past holder of this professorship, Professor Patrice Flynn, is back on campus this semester after spending last spring in Russia as a Fulbright Scholar. A first-person account of her time in Russia is in the fall issue of Mount Magazine.
