What is Senioritis?

In this blog, I share my thoughts and feelings about a senior graduating very soon. When life throws obstacles at you, how you handle them will determine who you are and what you’re capable of.

The saying "you don’t know until you know" really hit me this week. As the semester winds down, the feelings of graduating in about a week don’t seem real at the moment. Since there is still some time until May 14th, my main focus has been on my school work and finishing the semester off on a good note.

During this week of the semester, I have learned the difficulty of finding balance, especially at this moment. When life throws ten billion things at you all at once, how do go about doing it? I didn’t have the answer to this question, and I am sure that I am not the only senior going through these difficulties.

Being a senior at this time, you have a lot on your plate. We have end-of-semester exams, essays, projects, and other presentations, not to mention, finals week. It is a stressful and overwhelming time! Add in cap and gown orders, finding outfits for senior formal, actual graduation, and attending other ceremonial events, every senior has a lot on their plate.

With all that being said, what I have learned from my experience is that you have to do what needs to be done. Easier said than done; all you can do is put your best foot forward. Overall last semester and this one went by very fast, which means these next two weeks will go by even faster. Stress and school anxieties will always come and go, but you can't let those feelings get the best of you; only you know what you can achieve.
