Hello everyone!! My name is Thomas Fitzpatrick V, and I go by Tommy. Yes, the V is there for a reason -- I am the fifth, and I hope to carry the name on in the future. I am a commuter student who is pursuing a business degree in my third and final year of college. As I begin my senior year, I see myself nearing the concluding pages of this chapter in my educational journey while preparing for the next chapter that life has in store for me.

My senior year of high school was hybrid: some in-school learning and a lot of online learning. At the time, I had no motivation to think about the future or where I would go to college. I visited three colleges and applied to them all. I chose the Mount because it is very close to home, and once I got accepted, my search was complete.

As a business major, I want to pursue a government job in business analytics or budgeting. I want a full-time job right out of college and have stable pay. I want to move out of my parent's house by the end of the year because I believe living alone is a way for me to grow as an individual.

I also want to open and be the sole owner of a gym one day. I enjoy weightlifting as it is one of the best ways for me to escape mentally, and I enjoy the process of what I am building every time I step foot in a gym. I know how important the gym is to me; therefore, creating a gym for others is a long-term goal.

I am grateful to be able to provide an insight into my experiences throughout my time at the Mount and look forward to a semester of explaining the journey that has helped shape me into who I am and becoming.
