Mount St. Mary's University campus

Mount St. Mary’s University has partnered with Padua Academy in Wilmington, Delaware, to guarantee admission and a renewable four-year scholarship to Padua graduates who meet specific criteria. This collaboration enhances access to quality Catholic education at both high school and university levels.

The agreement, signed by Mount St. Mary’s Director of Admissions Joshua Karlheim and Padua Academy Principal Mary McClory, Ph.D., guarantees admission to Padua graduates with a minimum 3.00 GPA. Admitted students will receive scholarships ranging from $26,000 to $31,000 per year, with a total value of $104,000 to $124,000 over four years, contingent on maintaining the required GPA.

Padua Academy students admitted to Mount St. Mary’s will also have access to pre-professional advising tracks and dual-degree programs, including those with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University. Additionally, a Mount St. Mary’s admissions representative will visit Padua Academy up to three times a year to provide information on academic programs, admissions and financial aid.

In addition to Padua Academy, Mount St. Mary’s has similar admissions agreements with other Catholic high schools, including Camden Catholic High School, St. Joseph Academy, and Holy Cross Preparatory Academy in New Jersey; Saint John's Catholic Prep in Maryland; St. Thomas Aquinas High School in New Hampshire; and Delone Catholic High School, York Catholic High School, Trinity High School, Bishop McDevitt High School, Berks Catholic High School, and Allentown Central High School, all in Pennsylvania.
