Jeffrey Link, C’99, has been selected as the Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business’s 2025 honoree for the Academic Circle of Excellence Alumni Hall of Fame, an award granted in recognition of his exceptional career and community impact, and his lasting dedication to his alma mater.
“Mount St. Mary's was solely responsible for taking me from a boy to a man. In the classroom I learned the art of study, on the field I rehearsed discipline, and on campus I created relationships that have lasted my lifetime,” Link shared.
Link, a lifelong Marylander, attended Calvert Hall College High School before coming to Mount St. Mary’s. He earned a degree in finance from the Mount in 1999, at which point he had already been working for Merrill Lynch for two years.
After nearly 20 years of innovative work at Merrill Lynch, Link began his own financial advising firm. He now works as a managing partner at Quillion Wealth Management, where he helps clients achieve their financial goals and build lifelong stability through advice that meets their individual needs. Link has maintained licenses for Maryland life and health insurance, and security registrations for series 6, 7, 9 and 66 with FINRA.
During his time at the Mount, Link was captain of the Mount’s Division I men’s soccer team. He also traveled internationally and played with the Olympic Development Program.
Link has carried his time on the soccer team forward and has coached soccer at the Baltimore Armour Girls Academy and in the Maryland Olympic Development boys’ soccer program. He has also served on the Soccer Association of Columbia, the Calvert Hall Alumni Soccer Foundation and the Mount St. Mary’s Alumni Soccer Foundation.
He’s served his local community and the Mount in a variety of capacities and is involved in Maryland Special Olympics and Habitat for Humanity. Link is also a member of the Mount’s President’s Council.
“Jeffrey has been a dedicated and giving member of the Mount community for decades. He is a perfect example of the Mount’s commitment to educating hardworking, service-oriented students,” noted Corinne Farneti, Ph.D., dean of the Bolte School of Business. “We’re thrilled to induct him to the Alumni Hall of Fame.”
Fittingly, Link provided guidance and mentorship to Thunlwyn Garcia, C’23, and Anthony Milazzo, C’24, two former Mount men’s soccer athletes, as they worked to start ELOS (formerly Ascent Sporting Innovations) and obtain a patent for their cutting-edge insole technology.
Link resides in Howard County with his wife, Erin, and their two children.
